Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Detector Production Manager, the Cleanroom Manufacturing Technician performs hands-on technical tasks in a clean room environment to support wafer fabrication and backside processing. This role involves operating and maintaining semiconductor processing equipment, monitoring workflows, and collaborating with other technicians and engineers to ensure high-quality production and continuous improvement.
This is a second shift position from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Monday-Friday. This position will train for the first 8-12 weeks on the 1st Shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

- Extensive microscope work at seated and standing workstations
- Use of common manufacturing chemicals and solvents
- Communication with all phases of the operations team
- Operation of Vacuum deposition tools and Wet Benches
- Perform measurements and document results
- Data entry for travelers and WIP tracking
- Maintain documentation, product traceability, and system integrity
- 5S protocols: maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Assist Engineering in developmental processes, as necessary
- Miscellaneous assigned support functions
Job Qualifications:
- Communicate orally, read, and write using the English language
- Good fine motor skills
- Able to use small hand tools (tweezers, hex keys, and probes/picks)
- Able to read and work from engineering documentation with minimal direction
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment, ISO Class 6
- Computer skills required
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Attention to detail
- Visually inspect small parts
- Use a microscope for long periods of time
Desired Skills:
- 3-4 years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment
