Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Pipe Handler / Forklift Operator to support multiple departments, including Pipe Cell, Receiving, Shipping, and Packaging. In this role, you’ll safely operate industrial equipment while handling, preparing, and moving pipe and coil products throughout the facility. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently
- Unload inbound shipments and verify materials against documentation
- Move and restock materials to support production and shipping needs
- Accurately pull pipe and coil orders based on customer and internal work orders
- Label, barcode, and track materials for proper identification and traceability
- Bundle, wrap, and secure products for storage and shipment
- Cut pipe as needed and properly sort and identify scrap materials
- Prepare outbound shipments, including staging and loading trucks
- Assist with customer pickups and will-call orders
- Support multiple departments with general material handling tasks
- Follow work instructions and maintain accurate inventory flow
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Required Skills
1+ year of forklift or powered industrial truck experience in a warehouse or production environment
Experience pulling orders from written work instructions
Strong material handling experience (loading, unloading, picking, moving product)
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and related equipment
Shipping/receiving experience, including checking in and preparing shipments
Ability to lift, wrap, bundle, and organize materials consistently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility to support multiple departments and changing priorities
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months of sit-down forklift experience
Experience packing and wrapping shipments
Experience in inventory or warehouse stocking
Comfortable working in small, team-oriented environments
Interest in advancing into a lead role

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
