American Traveler is hiring a multispecialty Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience across general ultrasound, echo, and vascular disciplines at a Level IV Trauma acute care facility.
Details- Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds and a Level IV Trauma designation
- Multispecialty role covering general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Patient ratio of 8:1
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call required: Monday–Friday 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
- No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable multispecialty ultrasound/echo setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular studies, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; time off requests should be communicated prior to or at time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
- Scrub color for this role: Navy Blue
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
- 13-week contract
