About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced local CDL-A Shuttle Driver for a direct-hire position in Lenoir, North Carolina. This role offers consistent shuttle work, modern equipment, home-daily scheduling, and comprehensive benefits beginning on the first day of employment.

Pay & Schedule

• $32.00 per hour
• Average weekly pay of approximately $1,350
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Consistent pay increases
• Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily

Job Details

• Local shuttle route
• No-touch freight
• Move 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors
• Operate late-model, well-maintained equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local shuttle runs and move 53-foot trailers safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs.
• Secure loads and verify trailer conditions.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Experience operating 53-foot trailers.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
