Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Waterloo, NY

Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 (Huntington Living Center under Finger Lakes Health)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (05/26/2026 – 08/29/2026)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: $1,000 – $1,040/week (Estimated Gross)

• Provide essential daily living assistance to residents, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment by responding to call lights and utilizing safety equipment to prevent falls.

• Assist residents with meals (tray delivery and feeding assistance) and mobility needs (range of motion, transfers, and positioning).

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure) and measure intake/output.

• Support residents' social and emotional well-being through meaningful interaction and companionship.

• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Education: Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

• Licensure: Current New York State (NYS) Nursing Assistant Certification is mandatory.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care (LTC) setting.

• Certifications: Valid BLS certification (Must be through AHA or RQI).

• Availability: Must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.

• Commitment: Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required.
