Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in a school-based contract position. Unlike traditional BCBA roles, this position does not involve conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) or writing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Instead, the primary focus is on supporting implementation, providing training, modeling, and oversight to behavior technicians (RBTs), collaborating with school staff, and ensuring students receive high-quality behavioral support in the classroom.

The BCBA will work closely with teachers, SLPs, OTs, school administrators, and district-level BCBAs to promote positive behavioral outcomes for students with a variety of needs, including autism and other developmental disabilities.

Part time or Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, modeling, and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

  • Support teachers with the effective implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

  • Develop and oversee data collection systems and visual supports

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams (SLPs, OTs, teachers, principals, etc.)

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input related to student behavioral needs

  • Ensure behavioral supports align with ethical, evidence-based practices

  • Maintain professional documentation and communication as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

  • Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred

  • Ability to work effectively with RBTs and support staff

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities independently

  • Must pass all required school district background checks

Pay: It depends on experience, and it may be flexible.
