Sterile Processing Tech

Location: New York 14642
Pay Rate: $1100/week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, typically 11a – 7:30p but may have to com in early/stay late. No holidays, call, weekends, or overnights(40 hrs/week)

• Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and trays

• Operate sterilization equipment (steam sterilizers, washers, HLD systems)

• Perform quality assurance checks and maintain accurate documentation

• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and proper assembly

• Manage inventory, stock supplies, and support OR and clinical units

Requirements:

·High School Diploma or GED

·2+years of experience

·Previous OR or Med Surg experience in a health care facility

·Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)

- Must have travel experience

• Orthopedic tray experience
