Medical Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with at least 1 year of clinical experience. This is a unique opportunity to learn and play an active role in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Interest/previous experience in the field of dermatology is highly valued.

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor with patient examinations and procedures
• Scribe for the doctor, taking accurate notes for each patient interaction and documenting the information into the medical record
• Take patient medical histories and record vital signs
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication instructions
• Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Current certification as a medical assistant (CMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA) preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 11:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., Tuesday through Friday
