About the Role:
Join POWDER RIVER PROPPANTS LLC as a Maintenance Mechanic - Heavy Equipment in Glenrock, WY, where you will play a critical role in ensuring our fleet of heavy machinery operates at peak performance. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement equipment improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess machinery performance.
- Assist in training new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in mechanics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
