TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified IMC RN in Utica, New York, 13501!

• Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN
• Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Floating Required
• Block Scheduling not guaranteed
• Local and Traveler candidates accepted
• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
• Care for Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, and Post-Op patients
• Experience with Temp Pacers, Chest Tubes, A-lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo equipment
• Chronic vents present on unit; RT assists with vent management
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Provide care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Charting System: EPIC

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU or PCU experience required
• Current ACTIVE NY RN License required
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS Certifications required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Strong critical care and patient assessment skills
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices
