Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Des Moines, IA
Specialization: Operating Room (OR)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Compensation: $2423 - $2919 | Shift: 4x10 Rotating

Our organization is on the lookout for a committed OR nurse to become part of their team in Des Moines, IA. This role offers the chance to engage with advanced technology and a wide variety of surgical procedures.
As an essential member of the surgical team, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of patient care within the operating room. You will have the chance to scrub and circulate for numerous cases, including general surgery, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma. Your skills will be vital in ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
- Required experience in circulating and operating room duties
- Scrub experience is highly preferred
- Experience with General, DaVinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases is essential
- Additional experience in Neurology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular is preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical systems within the last 3 years is required
- Experience in a Trauma Level II setting is required; Level I experience is highly preferred
- Must have completed a travel assignment in the last 15 months
- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license required at the time of application
- AHA/ARC BLS certification is mandatory
