Opportunity:

Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage at two facilities


• Work various shifts including 7A and 7P schedules


• Handle varying patient encounters per shift


• Must have active PA license or IMLC with LOQ


• Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with ED experience or Emergency Medicine Board Certification required


• Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred


• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (EM boarded physicians exempt from BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS requirements)


• Level 4 trauma facility with comprehensive support services including 24-hour anesthesia, surgery, laboratory, and radiology


• Newborn deliveries received in ED with L&D department on-site


• Family medicine skills preferred including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care


• Experience with prenatal care, deliveries, newborn care, and pediatric patients of all ages preferred
