Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and plan efficient, lasting repairs
• Service CNC milling machines across mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains
• Utilize Fanuc controls expertise during troubleshooting and recovery
• Interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints to execute precise work
• Maintain plant equipment: compressors, overhead cranes, hydraulic pumps, and more
• Open work orders and record repair activities for traceability and continuous improvement
• Partner with engineering to reverse engineer components when parts are unavailable
• Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime
• Identify and report abnormal conditions to supervision

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance and machine repair
• Proven experience with Fanuc controls
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math competency
• Ability to read hydraulic and mechanical blueprints
• Own and maintain the tools required for the role

Preferred Background

• Knowledge of Fanuc ladders and parameter settings
• Ability to correct machine geometry and/or rebuild to OEM specifications
• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting capability

Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant shop conditions
• Regular proximity to moving mechanical parts
• Possible exposure to odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals
