At Harvey Vogel Manufacturing, we don't just run parts-we build precision, consistency, and performance into everything we do. Our ERP systems are central to that mission, and we're looking for an Epicor Kinetic Technical Specialist / Developer to help take them to the next level.
This role is hands-on, high-impact, and critical to how our business operates day to day-from the shop floor to the front office.
What You'll OwnMake Kinetic Work Smarter
- Drive real-world adoption of Epicor best practices-not just theory
- Identify underused features and turn them into business value
- Partner with operations, finance, and engineering to remove friction
- Turn shop-floor and user feedback into practical system improvements
- Develop and deploy BPMs, Functions, and Application Studio solutions
- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and system releases without disrupting production
- Ensure systems talk to each other (ERP, CRM, PLM, etc.)
- Create clear, usable procedures-not 20-page manuals no one reads
- Build BAQs, dashboards, and SSRS reports that actually get used
- Deliver insights that help leaders make faster, better decisions
- Improve visibility across inventory, costing, production, and financials
- Be a go-to problem solver for day-to-day ERP challenges
- Train users in a way that sticks-clear, simple, and practical
- Identify gaps and proactively fix them before they become issues
- Help evaluate new tools and technologies
- Support integration and modernization initiatives
- Play a key role in how we scale and grow our systems
- 5+ years working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of hands-on Epicor Kinetic development
- Proven ability to improve processes-not just maintain systems
- Epicor Kinetic expertise:
- BAQs, Dashboards, Data Definitions, Report Styles
- SSRS reporting
- BPMs, Functions, Application Studio
- Strong SQL Server and C# skills
- Experience integrating ERP with other business systems
- Multi-company or multi-currency ERP experience
- Experience with Epicor modules (Warehouse, QuickShip, DocStar, Financials)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes:
- Inventory, costing, purchasing, production, and shipping
- Practical problem solver-you fix what matters
- Strong communicator who can work with both IT and the shop floor
- Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Focused on results, not just activity
- You'll have real influence over how systems support operations
- You'll work directly with leadership and key business functions
- You'll help drive improvements that people actually feel in their day-to-day work
- You'll be part of a team-first culture focused on doing things right-and doing them better every day
