Python Game Developer - Full-time / Part-time

What You’ll Do

• Build & Optimize: Design, develop, and optimize robust 3D game simulations and environments specifically using Panda3D.
• Code & Debug: Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot core codebases using Python and C++.
• Ensure Performance: Guarantee smooth cross-platform compatibility and high performance across diverse hardware configurations.
• Manage Code: Drive version control workflows using GitHub to ensure seamless project collaboration.
• Collaborate & Document: Actively participate in code reviews and brainstorming sessions while clearly documenting architectural decisions, code, and processes.

What You Bring (Required)

• Proven, hands-on development experience specifically with Panda3D (Note: Experience with similar engines does not substitute for this requirement).
• Advanced programming proficiency in Python and C++.
• A deep understanding of 3D graphics pipelines, simulation logic, and cross-platform development.
• Strong command of GitHub (branching, pull requests, code management).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—clear documentation and teamwork are critical.
• The discipline to work independently in a remote environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Bonus Points (Preferred)

• Prior game development experience specifically for AI, simulation, or training purposes.
• Familiarity with optimizing 3D assets for peak performance across varying hardware.
• A background working in collaborative, distributed Agile environments.
