Job Summary:
The position is for a Surgical Technologist or licensed vocational nurse/licensed practical nurse (LVN/LPN) at a healthcare facility located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required, Certified Surgical Technologist certification within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN license, and at least 2 years of experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgery or total joint procedures, trauma level experience (Levels 1, 2, and 3), teaching hospital experience, and familiarity with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Additional Information: Blocked scheduling accommodated, on-call and weekend requirements apply, and floating may be required across locations.
