Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with local leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or receiving zones for suspicious behavior, trespassing, theft-related concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Support loss prevention and security-related operations by reporting hazards, assisting with de-escalation, and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
