Straightening Press Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality control, is seeking a Straightening Press Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Straightening Press Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Straightening Press Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: Dependent on experience

Shift: 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday - Friday is for overtime

What's the Job?

• Inspect parts for straightness and straighten warped parts to print specifications
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists safely and efficiently
• Set up and operate equipment following all safety guidelines
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and QC packets to ensure accuracy
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain continuous production of quality parts

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months to one year of related experience or training
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Forklift experience required
