South Texas Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Texas-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment across a multi-site system in South Texas. This role offers the flexibility to rotate across multiple facilities within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive emergency care to diverse patient populations.

Schedule Details

• 12-hour shifts with rotating day and night coverage
• Staggered shift options available
• Coverage: Ongoing, with schedule flexibility

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Management of a broad spectrum of acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, specialists, and support staff
• Documentation and order entry within the hospital’s EMR system
• Participation in cross-site coverage as needed

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and days
