Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Virginia-licensed emergency medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Lebanon, Virginia. This hospital-based emergency department offers a 53-bed acute care setting with ICU/PCU beds, providing consistent physician coverage with tele-support for admissions and floor calls, utilizing Epic EMR.

This opportunity is based within a hospital emergency department serving the greater region of Lebanon, Virginia. Providers will work alongside experienced nursing and APP staff in a structured environment designed for efficient patient flow and clinical collaboration. The department manages a high volume of emergency visits and utilizes Epic EMR across all workflows.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license
• DEA registration with Virginia address
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM, or ABMS)
• Recent EM residency graduates within 12 months considered with a 3-month proctorship
• Certifications in ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP (if applicable)
• Supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants
