2nd shift Electronics Technician

Shift of the Electronics Technician:

2nd Shift: M-F | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Training on 1st shift for 3 weeks)

Pay Rate/Salary of the Electronics Technician:

$24/hr + 6% shift differential

Responsibilities of the Electronics Technician:

• Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer requirements.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
• Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.
• Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.

Qualifications of the Electronics Technician:

• Minimum of a High School Education; Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.
• 2+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels is a must.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
