Food & Beverage Manager - Entertainment Restaurant

High-volume, event-driven beerhall and German-inspired restaurant concept featuring traditional cuisine, expansive beer offerings, and large-scale festivals, live entertainment, and private events. The Beerhall Manager is a hands-on, sales-driven leader responsible for overseeing daily operations while actively growing the business. This role goes beyond traditional management—owning revenue generation, event programming, and guest experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, event-heavy environment and can drive both operations and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development

• Drive sales through promotions, upselling strategies, and new revenue streams
• Develop and execute seasonal events, festivals, and themed programming
• Identify slow periods and create initiatives to increase traffic and revenue
• Analyze sales data and adjust strategies to maximize performance

Event & Festival Execution

• Own full lifecycle of events: planning, staffing, execution, and follow-up
• Build a year-round calendar to sustain consistent guest flow
• Ensure events are profitable, well-executed, and high-energy

Team Leadership & Development

• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing, sales-focused team
• Coach staff on upselling, product knowledge, and guest engagement
• Create accountability and a culture of ownership and urgency

Guest Experience & Floor Leadership

• Maintain strong, visible presence on the floor
• Ensure high-energy, memorable guest experiences
• Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally

Operations & Cost Control

• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and labor management
• Manage inventory, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Support catering and private events execution

Marketing & Community Engagement

• Partner with marketing on promotions and social media content
• Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community groups
• Drive awareness through creative campaigns and partnerships

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of management experience in high-volume restaurants, bars, or event-driven venues
• Proven ability to drive sales and execute large-scale events
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred) and reservation platforms (SevenRooms a plus)
• Hands-on operator comfortable working service, bar, and events
• Ability to manage multiple revenue streams (restaurant, events, catering)

Working Environment

• High-volume, fast-paced, and event-driven setting
• Requires nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours (50+ hours/week)
• Physically active role (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, long shifts)
