Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey? We are seeking a full-time, 40-hr compassionate and motivated Recovery Coach to join our interdisciplinary team supporting patients in both Emergency Department and inpatient settings located at 798 Central Ave in Dover, NH. This full-time position follows a consistent weekly schedule of: * Sundays & Tuesdays - 8:00am-8:30pm * Mondays & Thursdays - 8:00am-4:30pm This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, social workers, behavioral health clinicians, and other members of the care team in a fast-paced hospital environment. In this role, you'll work directly with individuals navigating substance use and recovery challenges, providing encouragement, advocacy, and connection to resources during critical moments of care. As a Recovery Coach, you'll help patients feel supported, heard, and empowered throughout their recovery journey. Responsibilities include engaging with patients at the bedside, assisting with care coordination and recovery planning, connecting individuals to treatment and community resources, supporting patients entering services, and helping create a safe and recovery-focused environment for all. We're looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a collaborative care setting. Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Bachelor's Degree PSYCHOLOGY preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Recovery Coach NH State Certification - within 1yr.

preferred

Certified Recovery Support Worker [CRSW - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board for Certification of Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals preferred

Experience
Sustained recovery experience 2-3 years required

Experience working with people with substance use disorders 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients/families and staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situations.
- Proficient in the use of office equipment and the computer Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain written records and reports.
- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and skill in the ability to safely and effectively operate standard.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
