About This Role

Academic Advising in APDesign is a partnership between students and academic advisors. Advisors engage students in their educational planning, teach them how to navigate college and university resources, and encourage them to take responsibility for decisions about their academic progress. Additionally, the academic advisor supports the mission of the college and each academic program through providing academic advising and administrative support.

About Us

The College of Architecture, Planning and Design (APDesign) consists of students, faculty and alumni across all disciplines, united by a shared passion for design. We offer a variety of programs in the architecture, community development, design and planning fields. Our programs teach students to collaborate with their peers, constantly try new approaches to problems and redefine the traditional boundaries of design. Our faculty and students are leaders and award-winners, representing APDesign and K-State across the nation.
