Location: Kansas City, MO

Salary: $20–$24/hour + Mileage Reimbursement

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a dynamic role where no two days are the same? We are seeking an experienced Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple multifamily communities throughout the Kansas City, MO area.

What You’ll Do

• Travel between assigned apartment communities to complete maintenance requests and property support
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Complete apartment turns and make-ready duties to prepare units for new residents
• Repair drywall, flooring, cabinetry, tile, locks, and other interior/exterior components
• Maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the communities
• Assist onsite teams with work orders, emergency maintenance, and property upkeep
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure company maintenance standards are consistently met

What We’re Looking For

• Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance
• Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple properties
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between communities
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
• EPA/HVAC certification preferred
