RN – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Claremont
Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent Placement
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $33.90 – $45.25/hour
- Full Benefits Eligible at 30+ Hours/Week
Position Overview
A well-established Critical Access Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking experienced RNs for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role is ideal for nurses with strong Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU, PCU, or Emergency Department experience who are comfortable working independently in a smaller rural hospital environment.
The RN will provide comprehensive patient care utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking, and evidence-based nursing practices across a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in Med-Surg and PCU settings
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Provide patient and family education throughout treatment and recovery
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire or Compact RN License required at submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU, PCU, or Med-Surg experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and independent nursing skills
