Job Description
Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts in the San Francisco area to hire dedicated Summer Paraprofessionals for Extended School Year (ESY) programs. We are seeking compassionate and adaptable professionals who are comfortable supporting students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and medical needs.
This role requires candidates who are willing to assist with all aspects of student support, including personal care and behavioral interventions in specialized classroom settings.

Responsibilities
•Provide direct 1:1 and classroom-based student support
•Assist students with toileting, diapering, hygiene, and feeding needs
•Support students requiring g-tube feeding assistance
•Implement behavior support strategies under the direction of school staff
•Assist students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs
•Support classroom instruction, transitions, and daily routines
•Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
•Collaborate with teachers, therapists, nurses, and other school personnel
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
•Associate’s Degree or higher
•Completion of at least 48 college units and possession of a High School Diploma
•Passing score on the CBEST and a High School Diploma
•Passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam and a High School Diploma
Preferred Experience
•Prior school-based paraprofessional or instructional aide experience
•Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral challenges, or significant disabilities
•Comfort assisting with personal care and medical-related student support
•Experience working in Special Education or intensive support settings
