Position Overview
A respected critical access hospital in northern New Hampshire is seeking a compassionate and motivated Inpatient Physical Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. The PT will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical conditions to help improve strength, mobility, endurance, and overall functional independence.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment while providing high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation plans and functional recovery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required (Master’s preferred)
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program required
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License required
- BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills required
