\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Room. Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, the nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient delivery in the Emergency Department.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
\n
• Coordination of nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
\n
• Collaboration with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
\n
• Delegation of patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
\n
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• 2+ years of experience required with at least 2 successful previous travel assignments.
\n
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and ESI level 5 training required.
\n
• TNCC certification preferred.
\n
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
\n
