- Compensation of $22.00-32.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal departments and personnel
- Ordering, procurement, stocking and billing of parts
- Create and receive parts requisitions/purchase orders
- Communicate daily with service writers, shop manager and technicians on parts needs
- Warranty and dirty core maintenance
- Must be proficient with computers and dealership software including Microsoft Office
- Warehousing, shipping & receiving
- Maintain clean and organized parts area and warehouse
- Maintain adequate supplier and vendor relations
- Conduct physical inventory counts as needed
- Reports directly to the Parts Manager
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in parts/warehousing/inventory control within the automotive/truck parts industry
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions to parts needs for company departments
- Ability to achieve and maintain proper parts certifications and training on Thermo King products
- Valid driver’s license
