- Provide technical engineering leadership and project management oversight for complex, multidiscipline aviation projects, including runways, taxiways, terminals, airfield pavements, stormwater systems, utilities, parking, and related infrastructure
- Serve as the primary point of contact for aviation clients, lead engagement activities including proposals, presentations, regulatory meetings, trade shows, and other business development efforts
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful delivery of aviation and civil engineering design projects
- Complete and oversee aviation and civil engineering designs, feasibility studies, technical reports, and engineering documentation using AutoCAD and related design tools
- Create and review 3D models to support design development, quality control, and coordination across project elements.
- Ensure all engineering designs and processes meet federal, state, and Foth standards, guidelines, and quality expectations
- Provide construction representation services, supporting field execution and ensuring alignment between design intent and construction activities
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on design practices, technical standards, and effective project delivery
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky or the ability to obtain licensure within one (1) year
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Minimum of 10 years of aviation project design experience
- Experience in construction observation or administration
- Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction (runways, taxiways, grading/drainage, pavement markings, etc.) preferred but not required
