Patient Treatment & Rehabilitation
- Carry out individualized therapy plans created by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Assist patients in improving strength, balance, flexibility, and movement
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and recovery techniques
- Encourage patient confidence and motivation throughout treatment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during every interaction
- Record patient progress, functional measurements, and treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
- Communicate patient updates and concerns with the rehabilitation team
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary care teams
- Apply evidence-based therapy techniques to support recovery and injury prevention
RequirementsWhat You Bring
You’re compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping patients improve their everyday lives.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
- Active PTA license or certification
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience with therapeutic exercises and physical therapy modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort using EMR and healthcare documentation systems
- Ability to assist and safely lift patients when needed
- Previous experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or primary care settings
