Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Salary Range: $27 - $33 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days a week. No weekend rotation.

Work Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Inpatient

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide quality care to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility and Inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients

- Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions to patients

- Monitor and document patient progress

- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care

- Attend and participate in team meetings and in-service trainings

Requirements:

- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

- Previous experience in a SNF and Inpatient setting preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques

- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
