Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Unity, NH

Salary: $37-39.50 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday | No weekend rotation

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Unity, NH. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Provide occupational therapy services, such as therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to help patients improve their functional abilities

- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve daily living skills

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients

- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans

- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation

- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
