Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Salary Range: $27.25-$30 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients' needs and developing individualized treatment plans

- Implement treatment plans and provide therapy services to patients, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and techniques

- Monitor and document patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve daily functioning and independence

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards and guidelines in the delivery of therapy services

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of occupational therapy

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to therapy

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed
