Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage patient intake processes and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate schedules for clinical staff and facilitate communication with healthcare providers.
- Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and compliance.
- Monitor financial transactions and assist with budgeting and billing processes.
- Ensure a welcoming environment for patients and families, addressing their needs promptly.
- Support marketing efforts to promote hospice services within the community.
- Proven experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
- Preferably familiar with Kinnser Wellsky; but not required
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare administration preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for providing quality care to patients.
