Travel Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) Tech – Columbus, OH
Seeking an experienced ARRT-certified Vascular Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment. This is a Day Shift 5x8 assignment working in the OR/endovascular procedural setting with call and rotating weekend requirements.
Schedule:
- 5x8 Days
- 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Rotating weekend/call coverage required
- Every other holiday
Requirements:
- ARRT certification required
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required (pending accepted)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years VIR/IR experience preferred
- Candidates with 1+ year experience considered if Level I or II trauma experience is present
Must Have Experience:
- Interventional Radiology / Vascular procedures
- Fluoroscopy and C-arm operation
- Scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures
- Endovascular interventions
- Angioplasty, fistulagrams, thrombectomy, stent placement, EVARs, and angiography procedures
- CT and ultrasound procedural knowledge
- EPIC charting preferred
Facility Highlights:
- 2 Endovascular Suites plus open procedure ORs
- Average 20 patients/day
- 2:1 RT lab staffing
- Philips Epiq 7G and advanced vascular imaging equipment
- Adult and geriatric patient population
Additional Details:
- Travelers must live greater than 100 miles from Columbus, OH
- Maximum 5 days RTO
- Travelers are first to float
- Compliance deadlines are strict and labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing
