Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified LPN to join our Adult Residential Treatment Facility in Tacoma, WA.

Scope
Provide nursing and medical services. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing and medical services to clients
- Provide education regarding prescribed treatment
- Document in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of clients
- Administer and document medications, adhering to state and program guidelines
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care as needed, following program guidelines
- Transcribe provider orders, following program protocols
- Measure and document client vital signs
- Other duties within the scope of practice as outlined by the Washington State Board of Nursing
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Maintain licensure, certification and other requirements for the position.
- Observe and assess clients in terms of therapeutic response to medication and the nursing care plan.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living as appropriate
- Assist in monitoring and documenting medical supplies, floor stock, and pharmacy communication.
- Assist in all aspects of the laboratory specimen, collection and throughput.
- Adhere to program’s infection control policy and protocols.
- Plan and lead educational and information groups for clients as assigned.
- Work to ensure effective communication among team members during and between shifts.
- Coordinate with school and staff regarding outside medical appointments and activities.
- Transport and attend medical appointments with residents
- Work with team members to create and contribute to a positive learning environment for all
