Astria Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team! This position is located at our Astria Toppenish Hospital in the Laboratory Department. 

Shift: 12 hour night shift , More information will be provided during the interview. 

What you get to do every day!

As the Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist, you will be responsible to performs assays accurately and timely on patient samples utilizing a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid the provider in patient diagnosis and treatment.

• Capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis and instrument maintenance and problem solving.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results with minimal supervision.
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infections control standards, so the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
• Able to recognize problems, identify the cause and make simple corrections by using preset strategies
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
