Job Details

  • Location: Greensboro, NC 27401

  • Temp-to-Hire

  • $28/hourly depending on experience

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Process payroll for hourly employees in the Kronos Time System, ensuring accurate timekeeping records and compliance with union labor agreements.

  • Maintain employee personnel files and workforce records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, and department leaders to update employee schedules, job assignments, and personnel information.

  • Audit and verify timecard data, monitor labor allocations, and prepare payroll information for weekly processing.

  • Track employee attendance, vacation usage, holidays, leaves, and other workforce-related records.

  • Prepare and process documentation for employee job, shift, and pay changes while ensuring compliance with established payroll timelines.

  • Support daily office operations by preparing reports and correspondence, answering phones, distributing mail, and maintaining organized filing systems.

 

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • 3+ years of payroll or related office support experience

  • Multi-company / multi-state environment

  • Automated payroll systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a business environment.
