Job Description
The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital located in Russellville, AL, to hire a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - ICU. Position Overview
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and providing hands-on care to patients of all ages. Your dedication will help ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient information
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Help serve meals and assist with documenting nutritional intake
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the RN
- Collect and transport specimens following established procedures
- Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and comfort care
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all age groups
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)
- Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
