Greet patients in a friendly professional manner
Room patients which includes accurately obtaining complete medical history, medications, vital signs, EGOG, and smoking status on all patients
Ensure examination rooms are clean and appropriately stocked.
Place orders for MD’s in Meditech with accurate diagnosis.
Perform phlebotomy accurately using correct tubes and follow all lab procedures.
Able to run CBC machine and CMP tests skillfully and accurately with complete and accurate documentation
Familiar with clinical pharmacology
Able to give injections, assist in bone marrow biopsies, and verify physician prescription orders.
Able to chart appropriately and timely, relay instructions to patients/families, answering calls and patient portal messages, and providing pertinent information.
Disposes of all biohazardous waste in appropriate manner.
Assists with supply inventory management.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Must be able to respect the need for confidentiality.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Perform front office procedures with a friendly and helpful customer service demeanor.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge of grammar and spelling to type patient information.
Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
Be a supportive team player
Avoid phrases like "that's not my job"
Overall, be KIND to all staff and patients
