Pay Range: $17.00-28.00 (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a Conventional Stamp Operator for our manufacturing client located in Broadview. This DIRECT HIRE position is responsible for setting up and operating conventional stamping equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain equipment according to company standards.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with blueprints and quality requirements.
- Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.
- Accurately report production data to the supervisor and enter information in Plex.
- Follow work instructions to complete production assignments within the scheduled timeframe.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements using lean manufacturing concepts.
- Assist with loading and unloading coils when the material handler is unavailable.

Required:
- Previous Stamping or Press Operation Experience-6 months minimum experience.
- Ability to read and use measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Understanding of necessary tools and instructions to ensure product quality.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Forklift certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and work for extended periods.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Work Environment & Safety
- Exposure to moving parts, sharp edges, hot surfaces, sparks, and noise.
- Personal protective equipment required, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves when necessary.
