2nd Shift Laser Operator (flat and tube)

Monitor and operate Laser, inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure parts are made in tolerance

2nd Shift: Mon-Friday 3:30pm-12am

Training period is typically 1 months on 1st Shift: Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Training period may be more or less depending on your ability to understand and master machines and skills needed for 2nd shift

Pay is base wage plus 2nd shift deferential ($2.00/hr)

Position Summary

Set up and run Flat sheet and Tube lasers

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production tasks such as loading/unloading materials and organizing work areas
• Support machine operators by preparing materials and staging parts
• Move finished products throughout the facility
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness of the production floor, workstations, and common areas
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic print reading
• ability to use and read inspection equipment
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for the majority of the shift
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
