Team Member & Cook

Position Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, or kitchen experience

• 3+ references from recent restaurant or service-related employment

• Reliable transportation (mandatory)

• Food Handler’s Certification required upon application

• Availability mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (Wednesday-Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Kitchen Duties:

• Perform morning prep including cleaning, cutting, and portioning seafood

• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product quality

• Follow company recipes and portion standards

• Set up prep stations and organize ingredients for daily kitchen operations

Food Safety & Storage:

• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards

• Store seafood correctly in refrigerators or freezers

• Label and date prepared food items for proper inventory rotation

• Follow all health department regulations and company safety policies

Kitchen Operations & Team Support:

• Assist cooks and kitchen staff during service when needed

• Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Cleaning & Inventory:

• Clean prep areas and equipment after use

• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low

Skills & Qualities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow kitchen procedures and management instructions

• Ability to handle high-volume service periods calmly and efficiently

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace

• Professional appearance and positive attitude with guests

• Physical ability to stand 8–12 hours and lift 30–50 lbs

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Willingness to assist in multiple roles (prep, cleaning, service support)

• Basic knowledge of POS systems (for front-of-house positions)
