Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Administer medications and assist with medical equipment as needed.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Follow care plans and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.
- Background check clearance and CPR certification are a plus.
