Warehouse specialist

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Processing:

• Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.

Inventory Management:

• Organize and store products in designated locations.
• Use inventory management systems to update stock records.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to customer requirements.
• Label and palletize outgoing shipments.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Documentation:

• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately through excel and other internal systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training may be provided).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
• Drivers License for over 2 years
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic addition and multiplication formulas and data input.
