Job Description
Snelling is currently looking for a Delivery Driver for an office supply company in the Birmingham area. Starting pay depends on experience and starts at $20.00 plus per hour. Drivers will be operating state-of-the-art straight trucks/box trucks equipped with lift gates. Some overnight routes one day a week, company provides per diem and overnight bonus.
Ideal experience of Delivery Driver includes:
- Route delivery
- Furniture moving or household goods moving
- White Glove Delivery
- Final mile logistics
- Appliance or furniture delivery
- Office furniture installation
- Beverage delivery routes
Delivery Driver Candidates must be comfortable with:
- Constant lifting and repetitive unloading
- Multiple stops daily
- Tight spaces and retail store deliveries
- Box handling for extended periods
- Lift gates
- Pallet jack use
- Customer interaction
