Description
American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology RN for a weekday day shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience and an active ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certificate.
Details
- Oncology/chemotherapy infusion unit setting
- Day shift schedule: 4x9-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday
- Days worked are determined by patient census
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certificate required
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC), CHIM, or ONC/ONCC-CHIM required
- Minimum of 2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience required
- Recent experience in the oncology/chemotherapy infusion specialty within the last 3 months required
- BSN preferred
- Oncology nursing experience in a radiation department preferred
- Active, unrestricted license with no prior hits required
- Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
