Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU/LDRP position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- LDRP unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes labor, delivery, postpartum couplets, and antepartum patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Call shifts required: 3–4 call shifts per 8-week block
- Floating required to Pediatrics and NICU; safety sitting on other units may also be required
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care is mandatory
- High-risk pregnancy and antepartum experience is a plus
Additional Information
- Candidates must be experienced in caring for postpartum couplets, as this is a core responsibility of the LDRP model
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not eligible — must reside 75+ miles from the facility to qualify
